International HELL-Contest by DARC

We have the great pleasure to invite you to join the International 
HELL-Contest. This contest is organizied by Deutscher 
Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC) to incrase interest of HELL mode.

RULES

Test Period: on the first full weekend in the month of October every year
  Saturday:     80 m 1400-1600 UTC
  Sunday:       40 m 0900-1100 UTC
  and the following
  Thursday:    2/0.70 m  1800-2000 UTC

Bands: HF-part: 3.5 and 7 MHz  VHF-part: 144 and 430 MHz

Classes: 1 - HF Single Operator
         2 - HF Short Wawe Listener (SWL)
         3 - VHF Single Operator
         4 - VHF Short Wawe Listener (SWL)

Modes: all two-way contacts in Hell

Contacts: the same station may be contacted once on each band for QSO
          and multiplier credits

Call:     CQ HELL-TEST

Message:  RST and QSO number starting with 001,
          in class 3 additional QTH-Locator

QSO-Points: HF -part: one point each completed QSO
            VHF-part: one point each kilometers distanz each completed QSO

QTC-traffic: additional score of one point credit for HF-part and ten points
  credit for VHF-part can by achived by giving and reporting a QTC.
  After working a number these QTC can bye reported back during a QSO
  with another station. A QSO my be reported only once and not back to
  the orginating station. A QTC contains the time, call sign, and
  QSO number of the station beiing reported (1214/DF5BX/003).
  A maximum of 5 QTCs can be sent to or received by the same station,
  which can be worked several times to complete this quota.

Multipliers: HF-part: on each band 1 multipliers for each country by the DXCC-
             	and WAE-list and for each call-district in JA, W, VE;
             VHF-part: on each band 1 multiplier each square

Logs:  Please a seperat log for each band.
       Logs must contain: Band, Date, Time UTC, Callsign,
       Message sent and received, Name, QTH, QTH-Locator for VHF-part,
       QTCs, Points and Multipliers.

Scoring:   Sum of the total points of QSO and QTCs multiplying
                by the sum of multipliers from all bands

Deadline: four weeks after the test (postmarked)
